MAS MASH is a festival that brings together performers, animators, studios, and illustrators to celebrate and showcase Arab animation. Japanese animation, also known as ‘Anime’, is a cultural export that Japan has been exporting to the Arab world for decades.
MAS MASH 2022, the 4th edition of the event, will explore the evolution and impact of anime on the Arab world. This event will feature unique talks, award-winning animation screenings, workshops and merchandise, providing an overview of the field as both a practice or form cultural expression.
