Khan was born into a musical family, and is now considered to be the best living sitar player. He has performed in some of the most prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall, and the United Nations Assembly Hall.
His recordings are at the top of Amazon’s Greatest World Music Albums of All Time List and have won him numerous awards, including a Grammy nomination. Khan will be joined in Abu Dhabi by Nihar Mehta and Amit Choubey, two world-leading tabla musicians.
