Louvre Abu Dhabi and Richard Mille, a Swiss watchmaking brand, have announced the second editions of the Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here and the Richard Mille Art Prize to mark the museum’s fifth anniversary.
GCC artists (residents and nationals) will be invited to participate in the edition. All of their work will be displayed at the Forum, an area of interaction and exchange dedicated specifically to contemporary art.
Louvre Abu Dhabi Art Here 2022 invites artists and designers to submit new or existing artworks that are connected with the concepts of Icon/Iconic. The submissions will explore how the icon concept resonates in contemporary art practices, and how it informs artistic perspectives.
A shortlist of artists will exhibit their work at the Louvre Abu Dhabi Arts Here 2022 exhibition. The jury will then select one winner for the Richard Mille Art Prize 2022.
