The Monarch butterfly is one of the most fascinating creatures on earth. Its wings span up to 12cm and it can travel over 3,000 miles, reaching heights of up to 1,500 feet. Our Educational Area is the perfect place to learn more about this amazing insect. Visitors young and old will be amazed by the facts and figures related to the Monarch butterfly.
The Dubai Butterfly Garden is home to the world’s largest collection of butterflies, with over 15,000 individual butterflies representing 50 different species. The Garden is contained within ten custom-built domes, covering a total area of 6,673 square meters. Visitors to the Dubai Butterfly Garden can expect to see thousands of these beautiful creatures fluttering around them in a variety of colors and sizes.
The museum is the perfect place to spend a couple of hours exploring the different domes. If the kids need a break, they can enjoy some delicious snacks – our treats include nachos, popcorn and gelato, while there are also fresh fruit juices – while watching a movie in our theatre. We have a store located right by the entrance where you can buy souvenirs.
